About Nick Micheli

Dedicated. Community-oriented. Accomplished.

In addition to farming, Nick’s Live Oak roots go even deeper. His great-uncle opened Pasquini’s Fine Italian Food, located south of Live Oak, which is a local family business that is operated by his cousins today. In his off time, Nick is also a local ambassador to the Shriner Children’s Hospital, as well as a 32nd degree Mason- where he is the acting Chair of the bicycle program for local elementary schools.

Nick has served as your Sutter County Supervisor for the last four years. He has brought good governance and responsibility to our local government. He is working to earn your vote and if you would like to chat about any local issues, feel free to give him a call!

Promises Made, Promises Kept!

Four years ago, Nick decided to run for County Supervisor on four basic issues:

1. Increased Public Safety:

With crime increasing statewide I worked to used county funding to support Sheriff and Fire positions with competitive wages in comparison to surrounding agencies.

2. Road Repair!

As a farmer, I know first hand the many issues we face on rural roads. That is why, I focused on using county funds to complete deferred maintenance projects and I worked to bring over 100 miles of newly paved county roads in District 1.

3. Budget cuts for all non-essential services!

After the many issues the Country faced with COVID, inflation and the ever increasing cost of living, I have worked hard to ensure Sutter County taxpayers see more savings at the County level. I am proud of the work we have done to balance the County budget and ensure better fiscal management.

4. Code enforcement.

As Supervisor, I worked to ensure our County code enforcement had more teeth and tools to deal with out of compliance businesses and further restrict violators.

The Path Forward 🡪

There is still much work to be done here in Sutter County. I will continue to fight for good governance and responsible management in Sutter County.

I’ve spent these last four years working hard to ensure our law enforcement agencies are well staffed and can do the job.

As a third generation Sutter County farmer, I want to ensure this industry continues well into the future and I understand firsthand the issues our local farmers are facing every day.

As a farmer and business owner I am well aware of the current business climate in California. I will continue to create a business friendly place here in Sutter County to ensure we attract new industries and businesses well into the future.

Homelessness is a major issue in our state, which is why I will continue to advocate for new and innovative solutions to the problem. We have many non-profit organizations who are providing great services to our community, and I applaud the work they are doing. As a father, I am also committed to keeping drugs and any type of needle exchange programs out of our community.

The future is bright for Sutter County, and I want to continue to represent our farming community and ensure good governance. If you would like to reach out about an issue, give me a call!
